Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to diagnose fit-up issues in large assemblies and execute corrective actions
Read, interpret, and implement weld schedules; program Fanuc robots to meet referenced weld parameters
Evaluate robotic welding processes and develop optimization plans to enhance cycle time, output, and quality
Analyze designs, programs, simulations, and test procedures for automated machinery and manufacturing processes
Exercise sound engineering judgment in selecting methods and techniques for resolving production and automation issues
Communicate technical concepts with programmers, leveraging a foundational understanding of PLC programming and industrial controls
Develop, implement, and support controls architecture focusing on process stability, system availability, and ease of operation/maintenance
Monitor project performance, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals
Participate in regular team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Support planning, engineering, and commissioning of controls equipment through final buyoffs in collaboration with suppliers and production/maintenance teams
Design, build, and commission control panels in compliance with NFPA and NEC standards

Required

Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of technical project/program management experience OR Master's degree with at least 3 years of technical project/program management experience OR At least 7 years of technical project/program management experience
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Proven Fanuc robot programming, troubleshooting, and repair experience
Proficient in troubleshooting voltages (24VDC-480VAC) using a multimeter
Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Experience with Atlas Copco tool controllers and DC Tool software (ToolsNet, ToolsTalk PowerMAC, ToolsTalk PowerFocus, ToolsTalk 2)
Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs (SLC, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) and software (RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000)
Experience programming/troubleshooting Allen Bradley VFDs (PowerFlex, ArmorStart)
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, contractors, and subcontractors
Experience in project scheduling, budget tracking, and performance monitoring
Data-driven problem-solving and process improvement mindset

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
3-7 years of experience in robotic welding or automation engineering
