Responsibilities

Contribute to building secure software and infrastructure, applying best practices
Assist in finding and fixing security flaws in applications, systems, and networks
Develop scripts and tools (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline security operations
Gain exposure to various cybersecurity tools, from vulnerability scanners to SIEM platforms
Investigate emerging cyber threats and attack techniques
Help create and maintain essential security documentation

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related technical field
A graduation date at least 4 months after the end of the internship
Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the duration of the internship
Ability to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week in one of the following Intuit locations: Mountain View, San Diego, New York, or Atlanta
Awareness of core cybersecurity concepts and common vulnerabilities
Desire to learn and grow within a technical environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
For Security Software Engineering: Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming languages
For Security Software Engineering: Experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, C#, C++
For Security Analyst Candidates: Knowledge and/or experience with at least one of the following areas: risk analysis; intelligence analysis; cyber forensics; security compliance frameworks; security governance concepts
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Git
Participation in CTF competitions, personal security projects, or open-source contributions
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs, tools and concepts
