RESEARCH ENGINEER III (2)

Oversees the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems
Guide and train less experienced engineers
Performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the organization
Support meetings, teleconferences, and travel as required by projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Reports to EITD Electrical Engineering Section Lead
Has broad knowledge of engineering procedures and assists in the resolution of complex problems
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Six (6) years of related experience required
Ability to use various engineering and documentation/analysis software, MS Word, and Excel
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to work independently

Technical Communication skills (verbal & written)
Prioritization skills
Process improvement and quality skills
Ability to train others
Electrical/Electronics Design experience using CAE software
Electrical/Electronics Prototyping, Fabrication, and Assembly experience

Mechanical or Materials Engineering preferred
Electrical Engineering experience for embedded / integrated systems
Electrical Engineering experience for aerospace applications
SPICE Modeling and Analysis for embedded systems design
Microcontroller Programming/Prototyping Experience
