Be accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline
Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan
Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
Be required to have in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in own discipline and knowledge of other disciplines
Manage a team of professionals and/or supervisors; adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges
Impact the level of service and the team’s ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectives
Qualification
Required
2+ years leadership and conflict resolution experience
5+ years Payroll administration experience
Experience with vendor management
Computer skills; Word and Excel experience
Knowledge of federal and state regulations and desire to keep current with future changes
Good verbal and written communication skills
