The Analyst II, Pricing and Underwriting role involves supporting the Pricing and Underwriting team with financial modeling, client proposals, and various analyses to facilitate business decisions.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance sales support mechanisms for prospective clients
Calculate risk of pricing metrics and value derived from the relationship with the client
Monitoring and reporting on client-specific network performance, service metrics and supply chain procurement
Review, pro-actively identify, and support implementation of opportunities for rebate, pricing, and discount performance improvement via analysis
Research external and internal pricing trends and forecasts to contribute to overall pricing strategy
Develop and maintain databases to support business decisions and inform responses to client or prospective client requests
Track and report client performance impacts of relevant programs
Support development of other Analysts with training opportunities
Identify opportunities for client savings or program enhancements
Perform analyses as requested by internal and external business owners, or in support of identified business objectives
Demonstrate understanding of contractual terms and performance to assist in development of program strategies, pricing decisions, and contract language
Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy of pricing and processes
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree required
2 years relevant experience with PBM, Pharmacy, managed care, business, statistics, or analytical programs required
Monthly/quarterly travel
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Preferred

Emphasis in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science preferred
