Responsibilities
Support various engineering teams to collect data for product/design validation
Support various engineering teams with hardware and software setup on lab stations
Test, bring-up, debug, and re-work prototype and reference boards
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions
Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
Assist in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test setups
Create & implement test procedures based on specification data requirements
Provide engineers with test data summaries in an understandable and complete manner
Qualification
Required
AAS degree + minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a related field
Basic understanding of Ohm's Law and electronic theory
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, etc
Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
Preferred
Experience in electronics engineering laboratory environment
Experience in SMT soldering components at least 0201 size
Experience in an ESD environment
Fundamental understanding of RF technologies such as Bluetooth and WiFi
Fundamental understanding of acoustics, and the connection of acoustics to electrical systems
Experience with RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc
Experience in using, debugging, editing, and writing Python scripts
Experience in using, debugging, editing, and writing NI LabVIEW programs
