Senior Advisor to the President & CEO

The Senior Advisor to the President & CEO will support the implementation of AEO’s strategic initiatives and drive new strategic projects, working closely with the President & CEO to ensure the successful execution of AEO’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities

Assist the President & CEO in developing and implementing organizational strategies and initiatives
Lead and manage strategic projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with AEO’s goals and timelines
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, partners, and donors, to advance AEO’s mission
Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities for growth and impact
Prepare reports, presentations, and communications for the President & CEO, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and foster a culture of innovation and excellence
Provide high-level advice and support to the President & CEO on a range of strategic issues and initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic advisory or project management role, preferably within a non-profit or economic development organization
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
High level of professionalism and integrity
Passion for economic equity and supporting underserved entrepreneurs
