Responsibilities
Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
Prepare, review, and analyze general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and variance reports
Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives to streamline accounting operations and reduce errors
Support the implementation and upgrade of financial systems (ERP and related), with a focus on configuration, testing, and end-user adoption
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment across systems
Leverage ERP tools (Workday, EPIC, Star, Insights) to generate business acumens, improve reporting capabilities, and support business decisions
Identify opportunities to innovate and improve accounting workflows, automation, and reporting
Monitor compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and applicable healthcare regulations
Assist with the preparation for external audits and regulatory reporting
Provide financial analysis and support for budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
Act as a knowledge resource and mentor to junior accounting team members
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems such as Workday, EPIC, Insights, and Star
