Responsibilities

Develop and author mechanical product requirements
Perform first-order “spreadsheet level” thermal analysis and simulations
Create and test prototypes to validate analysis
Design and 3D model parts such as heat sinks, fan modules, airflow baffles, sheet metal chassis, and mounting brackets
Develop 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency with Solidworks or 3DExperience Catia
Knowledge of core heat transfer concepts, including conduction, convection, and radiation
Familiarity with building prototypes and machining

Preferred

Familiarity with electrical component design principles
Experience with data center or desktop computers
Knowledge of how to read and interpret mechanical drawings with GD&T
