Responsibilities
Managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management
Managing projects that involve a combination of the following: quantities/cost estimation, roadway geometrics, staging, drainage, modeling, signing and marking, right-of-way, and erosion and sedimentation control
Providing technical oversight, support, and training to engineers
Following internal quality control processes
People management, such as mentoring and supervising lead engineers and junior engineers to support their technical growth and career development
Fostering technical excellence across the business line by sharing expertise, promoting best practices, and supporting continuous learning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline and 2 years of related roadway project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Georgia PE License
Preferred
10 years of experience designing & managing roadway projects
Experience designing & managing Georgia roadway projects
Experience and training with GDOT Plan Development Process
