Responsibilities

Partner with Sales AEs to develop comprehensive presales strategies, provide strategic input on deal approach and competitive positioning, and achieve quota targets
Lead independent discovery sessions with key stakeholders from C-level executives to marketing and IT teams, analyzing business requirements and building relationships across prospect organizations
Customize product demonstrations based on prospect-specific needs, configure advanced features to showcase competitive advantages, and develop tailored value propositions
Develop deeper CPG and Retail industry expertise, lead competitive differentiation conversations, and contribute insights to competitive messaging refinement
Build preliminary business cases based on customer data and industry benchmarks, presenting findings and solution recommendations with clarity
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to training materials, best practice documentation, and knowledge management systems
Act as Voice of the Customer by synthesizing prospect feedback patterns and contributing consolidated insights to Product team discussions
Represent Eversight at industry engagements, including attending conferences

Required

3–5 years of experience with significant exposure to SaaS pre-sales activities
Strong knowledge of the CPG and/or Retail vertical, including a deep understanding of Trade Promotion and Retail Price Management/Merchandising
Expertise in solution storytelling—translating technical functionality into persuasive business narratives
Proven presentation and persuasion capabilities with the ability to control an audience, convey complex concepts clearly, and overcome objections
Experience in creating or developing business processes and strategies in a dynamic environment
Trusted advisor mindset: Balancing honesty and advocacy—telling customers what they need to hear, not just what they want
Demonstrated ability to lead consultative discovery processes and extract key insights from diverse stakeholders
Track record of mentoring or enabling peers to improve team performance and elevate overall presales capability
Ability to travel up to 35%

Preferred

Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms focused on pricing, promotions, or revenue optimization
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application to business problems
Track record of achieving or exceeding quota in a pre-sales or sales engineering role
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop business cases and ROI models
