The Haskell Company is seeking a Commissioning Technician to assist the Commissioning Agent from design through final reporting. The role involves developing pre-functional forms, conducting construction site visits, and assisting with functional testing.

Responsibilities

Works with the commissioning (Cx) team to develop pre-functional checklist (PFC)

Perform construction phase site visits

Field reporting from site visits

Works with the Cx team for tracking of open issues from field reporting

Works with the Cx team to perform functional testing with Commissioning Agent and contractors

Works with the Cx team to perform seasonal testing if required

Works with the Cx team to completion and review data of the pre-functional checklist for accuracy

Required

Associate degree plus 0-3 years of experience in commissioning preferred, or a combination of education and experience

General knowledge of the commissioning processes and procedures for MEP

Understanding of different types of HVAC equipment and functionality

Ability to self-manage time and travel

Ability to review drawings and verify systems are installed per design requirements

Excellent organizational, communications and analytical skills

Mechanically inclined with the ability to problem solve by finding resources to obtain information required to complete task

Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds

Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information

The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
