Responsibilities

Acquire, advise, and retain a portfolio of Institutional and Private Banking clients, working with the broader Lending teams and Retail branch team to ensure achievement of the business performance measures and plan
Conduct frequent and regular check-ins with assigned clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and strategic alignment with THE bank’s services/product offerings
Set and implement a business development plan for the line of business, and drive opportunity pipeline with strategic technology, consulting and ensure it's in line with the Caver’s strategic direction
With senior management, set sales targets for the segment
Directly oversee the Cash Management Account support staff
Coordinate and liaise activities with other Retail Banking, Portfolio Management and Lending divisions to provide support and cross selling opportunities between the functions/ departments
Work with senior management and strategic partners to market services specifically targeted at institutional clients, including the Empowering Change Program
Align functional activities and initiatives with the objectives and mission of the Bank
Maintain client activities logs, prepare and review reports and submit periodic MIS reports to senior management regarding Products and Marketing Analytics and the unit's performance
Maintain continuous compliance with the policies, procedures, prevailing practices and regulations pertaining to deposit gathering activities and services promulgated by the respective regulators
Maintain highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and integrity in the provision of activities in the function
Coordinate with the Department Head Segments, Products and Marketing Analytics to provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors
Collaborate with senior management and Marketing Department in implementation of creative, strategic marketing campaigns
Provide regular reporting to senior management on key metrics related to business growth, sales activities, pipeline and customer retention strategy for institutional and private banking line of business
Grow the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities which includes,expanding opportunities with lending customers, BAW (bank at work), and cash management sales
Supervise Cash Management Product Specialist

Required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking, with a minimum of 5 specific to coordinating and/or managing business development responsibilities
Knowledge of ACH, online banking, CDARs, sweep accounts and other cash management services

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Self-starter and results oriented
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to work with a CRM system
Ability to work independently
Thorough knowledge of banking products and services
