Responsibilities
Help shape Arist’s testing strategy across squads, ensuring every release is reliable, accessible, and thoughtfully built
Evaluate and apply new tools that strengthen quality and development flow, always aiming for real user impact
Partner with engineers and designers to embed testability early and create meaningful validation at every stage
Define and track quality metrics and turn findings into improvements
Test for both function and feel, making sure the product is intuitive, secure, and accessible to everyone
Qualification
Required
Strong experience testing modern web and mobile applications, from integrations to accessibility and everything in between
Ownership of quality — observability, performance, accessibility, and security are built into how you test
Ability to rely on data and observability to find root causes, measure impact, and make continuous improvements
Clear communication skills and ability to think like an engineer
Experience collaborating closely with design, product, customer success, and development teams
Confidence working with AI-first features, using red-teaming, synthetic data, evals, and any new techniques that emerge as the field rapidly evolves
Preferred
Curious and independent, with a love for exploring new tools, frameworks, and approaches
Enjoy learning new technologies and unlearning outdated habits
Care about how things work and how they feel
