Junior Project Engineer
Responsibilities
Project Conceptualization: Assist in gathering and organizing project information to support the sales team in developing quotations. Work under the guidance of Senior Project Engineers to determine product quantities based on customer needs
Communication: Collaborate with the Sales team and customers to help define project requirements, scope, and deliverables, reporting progress to Senior Project Engineers
Preliminary Design: Support preliminary design efforts by preparing basic calculations, layouts, and drawings as directed. Ensure accuracy by working closely with Senior Project Engineers
Documentation: Assist in preparing and organizing project documents to communicate project concepts effectively
Product Determination: Help determine appropriate products based on project specifications and support the preparation of bills of materials
Specification Assistance: Assist in drafting project specifications under the guidance of Senior Project Engineers
Review and Compliance: Support the review of project specifications to ensure requirements are understood and properly incorporated
Site Meetings: Attend site meetings with Senior Project Engineers to observe and document project needs
Design Support: Assist in preparing drawings, performing basic calculations, and gathering measurements for field fit verification under supervision
Review and Revision: Work with the Sales team to review customer redlined quotations and drawings, assisting in revisions
Equipment Specifications: Support the finalization of equipment specifications and help track internal orders for buyout equipment
Schedule Monitoring: Help monitor engineering schedules and report any potential impacts to Senior Project Engineers
Job File Preparation: Assist in organizing and issuing job files to ensure all relevant project information is documented
Issue Resolution: Support troubleshooting efforts alongside Senior Project Engineers to resolve technical issues
Collaboration: Work closely with the EAE USA team and stakeholders to support project success
Customer Training: Assist in providing onsite training for installation, testing, and maintenance of EAE Busway under supervision
Technical Support: Provide basic onsite technical support to contractors and installers while working alongside Senior Project Engineers
Field Measurements: Help perform field measurements and assist contractors as needed
Perform other tasks as assigned by Senior Project Engineers or leadership
Qualification
Required
0-2 Years as an Electrical Engineer in a role at an engineering firm (construction industry), electrical equipment manufacturer or similar
BS in Engineering or related discipline
1+ Years Experience with Revit, AutoCAD Electrical or similar
