Responsibilities
Conduct risk assessments of applications, infrastructure, and vendors using established methodologies
Identify and document control gaps and provide actionable remediation recommendations
Partner with business and technology teams to articulate risks in a clear, understandable manner
Evaluate and ensure remediation plans effectively address identified risks
Document risks in the companys risk register and assist with policy exceptions and risk acceptance processes
Drive process improvements in the risk assessment program
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience in risk assessment (application, infrastructure, or vendor risk management)
Strong knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, and cybersecurity risks
Proficiency in information risk management frameworks and best practices
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI for data analysis and presentations
Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in the Financial Services industry
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
Bachelors degree in a related field
