We’re looking for a system administrator with a background in system design and maintenance to help us modernize our nation’s security infrastructure
As a system administrator on our team, you’ll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies
You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management
Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network
Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning

Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT support role
Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS and server administration
Experience with network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, or VPNs
Experience with system virtualization such as VMware or Hyper-V
Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, disaster recovery planning, and system monitoring
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate administrative tasks
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS Diploma or GED
Preferred
15+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT support role
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Bachelor's degree
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Network+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
