Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to ensure the platform seamlessly integrates with a wide range of industrial equipment, sensors, and other control system components
Contribute to the overall system architecture and design, providing input on the integration of industrial automation components
Assist in defining the data flow, communication protocols, and interface specifications between the platform and the underlying industrial systems
Identify and address technical challenges related to the integration of industrial automation technologies into the visualization platform
Participate in the development of critical system components to incorporate industrial-specific features and functionalities into the platform, leveraging your expertise in industrial automation and control systems
Identify opportunities to optimize the platform's performance, reliability, and scalability
Contribute to the definition and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies, including the validation of industrial automation and control system integrations
Analyze test results and provide technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to the integration of industrial components
Ensure the platform meets the required performance, reliability, and security standards for industrial applications
Qualification
Required
4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
Preferred
Experience with distributed systems at scale
Experience building services using AWS products
Knowledge of a front-end language (Javascript, CSS, HTML, etc.)
Experience with Linux/Unix
Experience with Industrial control systems, both hardware and software
