Senior QNXT Configuration Analyst

Responsibilities

Configure, test and maintain core systems to support business processes and ensure system integrity
Implement updates and changes to system configurations based on user requirements and organizational needs
Troubleshoot and resolve business configuration issues to maintain system performance and reliability
Generate and maintain detailed documentation for all business configuration applications
Develop and implement policies and procedures to support business configuration
Partner closely with our vendor/implementation partner configuration resources on complex changes during implementation
Build a knowledge base in-house of configuration rules to reduce vendor reliance post implementation
Demonstrate subject matter expertise across multiple key modules in QNXT including module integration
Develop a configuration queue and supporting processes post implementation
Develop and recommend best practices for system design and configuration
Review functional design and business requirements to ensure quality control
Review application release notes, report application defects to vendors and support application upgrade efforts
Recommend and implement configuration changes to improve overall efficiency and streamline system processing
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for system configurations
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system design documents
Document functional specifications for system solutions and enhancements to existing business systems
Ensure that system configurations align with business goals and compliance standards
Lead and participate in projects related to system configuration and implementation
Develop project plans, timelines, and request resource allocation to ensure successful delivery on configurations
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely completion of milestones
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimization to improve efficiency and performance
Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure optimal configuration and functionality
Implement best practices and standards for system configuration management
Provide advanced support for users experiencing system configuration issues
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users on system configuration and functionality
Assist in the creation of user manuals, documentation, and FAQs
Collaborate with end-users as needed to develop and execute appropriate test plan to verify configuration changes work as intended
Ensure that all system configurations comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and system configurations
Participate in internal and external audits related to system configuration and operations
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in system configuration and management
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare industry and related technologies
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Propose and implement process improvements to streamline system configuration activities

Required

Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, electronic health records (EHR), and health information exchanges (HIE)
Proven experience with system configuration tools and technologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency with SQL, scripting languages, and system configuration software
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to healthcare IT systems (e.g., HIPAA)
Functional understanding of health care claims, authorizations, eligibility processing and data sets such as ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCs, provider contracts and benefits
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, problem-solve and identify and use appropriate technology to solve business problems
Ability to produce accurate and precise work, detect discrepancies and resolve discrepancies all while meeting deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in QNXT system configuration, analysis, or a related role, preferably in the healthcare industry
QNXT configuration and testing experience required e.g. prototyping, enhancements, unit testing and system upgrades
Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures in planning the systems configuration
Release management and change control experience

Preferred

Prior experience at a healthcare organization, particularly at a managed care health plan preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus
