Local 10 Mobile HVAC Engineer
Cushman & Wakefield is a leading global real estate services firm, and they are seeking a Local 10 Mobile HVAC Engineer to support the Assistant and/or Chief Engineer and Sr. Facilities Manager. The role involves the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of building systems, focusing on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building systems
Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, valves, and building automation systems
Conduct inspections and address interior/exterior building issues (e.g., walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing)
Respond to emergencies and support facility operations during critical events
Maintain inventory and recommend improvements to maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies
Perform general maintenance tasks (e.g., lighting, furniture, door hardware, restroom fixtures)
Maintain required licenses and complete annual safety training
Qualification
Required
A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required
Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of HVAC equipment and systems, plumbing, electrical, equipment repair and maintenance, and overall system design and application
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
Possess a valid 'Universal' level certification for CFC and HFC-based refrigerants (EPA Section 608); to service, repair, or dispose of equipment that could release
Experience in operation, maintenance, and basic repair of HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, gas lines, water systems, and the like
Knowledgeable in energy management systems, techniques, and operations
Thorough knowledge of all building systems operations, maintenance, and repair
Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with tenants, clients, and vendors
Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
Ability to perform work wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if required
Ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders), and safely install rigging/lifting devices
Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
Must be willing and able to support after-hours/weekends building-related activity as required

Graduate of an apprentice program or trade school preferred
