Responsibilities

Receives, inspects and dispositions customer returned material. Ensures the material is appropriately identified and records the disposition/status per the Quality Management System software

Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics

Ensures that material in the nonconforming material system (NCMR) is segregated and dispositions are obtained in a timely manner

Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards

Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability

Assists with the layout inspection for First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), tooling verification, set up verification and in-process inspections

Assist with the administration of the calibration system. This includes keeping calibration cycles up to date for gages/fixtures that are calibrated internally and externally

Maintain the integrity of the Harrington Quality Management System (HQMS), including the ISO compliance structure, ensuring proper documentation processes, and audit effectiveness

Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Required

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school

At least one year related experience working in Quality in an ISO/TS/QS manufacturing environment

Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

Completion of pre-employment screenings including Background Check, Drug Screen, and Physical Examination
