Responsibilities

Design, develop, and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW

Continuous improvement of measurement algorithms, techniques and reporting to improve quality and reduce overal cost

Consult with electrical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate measurement techniques

Participate in the development of new software architectures designed to maximize reuse, reduce development costs, and improve software quality

Port existing test applications to new platforms

Support existing orders and support proposals as we continue to grow our test solutions business

Occasionally support the installation and commissioning of test systems at customer facilities

Provide technical guidance to early-career engineers

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

NI LabVIEW & TestStand experience

Basic networking (TCP/IP) and Radio/RF communication system experience

Preferred

Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD)

Familiarity with software management tools (e.g. SVN/GIT, JIRA)

RF and baseband test and measurement experience. Familiarity with test equipment such as: Spectrum & Network analyzers, Power Meters, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Audio analyzers
