Responsibilities
Evaluating, planning, and designing projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance, including pipelines and pumping facilities
Supporting project management activities
Conducting vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and designing solutions for utilities, municipalities, and cities
Performing various tasks such as site visits, water sampling, analyzing water quality, evaluating technologies, troubleshooting processes, and optimizing plant operations
Gathering critical data and ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of water and wastewater systems
Supporting Asset Management projects by utilizing data analytics to perform operational and organizational assessments, conducting condition assessments, and evaluating the overall performance of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities
Preparing reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participating in client meetings
Ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards, and facilitating coordination for timely completion and submission of projects on time and budget
Learning, designing, and managing databases, SQL server (including reporting and integration services), cloud-based computing services, and configuration of interactive dashboards
Working independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to accommodate collaboration with team members across the U.S. and internationally
Learning and using digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Power BI, and Augmented Reality
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline)
Preferred
Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment
Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit
EIT certification
