MR Imaging Scientist
The University of California, San Francisco is expanding its research programs and is seeking an MR Imaging Scientist. The role involves developing an independent research program focused on ultra-fast, high-resolution imaging and teaching responsibilities for medical students and fellows.

Responsibilities
Develop an independent research program of excellence
Focus on ultra-fast, high resolution, quantitative imaging
Interact with basic scientists and clinical researchers in planning, conducting, and evaluating data
Teach residents, fellows, medical students, and master’s students
Qualification
Required
PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics or Related Field
Postgraduate or postdoctoral training and research experience since obtaining their PhD, preferably at least two years combined
Motivated and successful as an independent investigator with a strong focus on ultra-fast, high resolution, quantitative imaging
Interest in Musculoskeletal imaging, focused on Orthopedics and Sports Medicine
Ability to teach residents, fellows, medical students, and master's students
Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission
Must meet all of the qualifications at the time of appointment
Preferred
