Responsibilities

Support space systems modeling, simulation, and analysis

Developing in and working collaboratively on large C++ codebases including data-oriented design architectures, event driven simulations, and Monte Carlo simulations

Develop and make use of existing analytical tools to support analyses for a wide customer base

Formulation of the analysis problem

Model development

Analysis execution

Presentation of the results to the customer

Ability to qualify for a US Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required

Candidate must be SAP and SCI program eligible

Experience in C++ and Python programming languages

Experience developing in and working collaboratively on large C++ codebases including data-oriented design architectures, event driven simulations, and Monte Carlo simulations

Experience in mathematics and physics including systems-level analyses in missile defense, radar system simulation and modeling, statistics, numerical integration algorithms, and modeling of aerospace systems

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to formulate concrete analysis problems from imprecise need statements

Ability to work with others to conceptualize and solve problems

Versatile in C++ and Python

Strong math and numerical analysis background

Knowledge of detection, tracking, and discrimination algorithms

Experience solving multivariate optimizations

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, math, or a physical science

5 years of relevant experience
