Manufacturing Engineer Senior

Responsibilities
Lead Production Line Validations (PLVs) at Lockheed Martin and supplier sites
Perform Make‑or‑Buy analyses and trade studies to support cost‑effective solutions
Submit design Change Requests (CRs) and review Engineering Change Notices (CNs)
Support tooling development and affordability/process‑improvement initiatives
Facilitate technical interchange meetings and present findings to senior leadership and customers
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Preferred
Shop floor experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFMA) or Design to Cost
Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Knowledge of SAP MRP production control system
Experience working with government customers
Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
Experience with proposals and estimating
Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
