Responsibilities
Responsible for research and development projects directed to the development of novel filtration technologies suitable for the manufacture of therapeutic biopharmaceuticals
Possess the creativity, knowledge, and skills to successfully execute on challenging projects
Apply proven scientific and engineering principles on projects with high complexity and difficulty
Work cross-functionally with teams that includes R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, Sales, Quality and Procurement to drive product ideas through development and validation phases to achieve successful commercialization
Travel domestically and internationally, 10-30%
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science and 5+ years of work experience
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science and 4+ years of work experience
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science
Preferred
Strong technical leadership and project management skills
Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis methods
R&D or manufacturing experience in filtration device making
Experience with CAD design software such as SolidWorks
