Property Control Technician

The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Property Control Technician to manage assets and maintain order at Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC). This role involves developing and coordinating a comprehensive inventory system for movable equipment and managing the college's fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Manage assets and maintain order at the college including the Regional Educational Service Areas
Develop, coordinate, and maintain the comprehensive college wide inventory system for movable equipment, furniture, supplies and other assets
Maintain the schedule and maintenance of the college’s fleet of vehicles

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Three years of related experience
Knowledge of coding, filing, and record keeping
Valid driver's license
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills to manage a diverse range of responsibilities with frequent interruptions under competing deadlines
Experience with scheduling software and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong written/oral communication skills

Preferred

Progressive work experience in inventory control working within a public higher educational setting
Forklift certified
