1+ years expADM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CAD Operator to join our dynamic team. The role involves assisting in the creation and modification of detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software while collaborating closely with engineers and architects.

Responsibilities
Projects are assigned by the CAD Department Manager. Project tasks are carried out under the direction of the Project Manager, Design Professional in Responsible Charge (DPIRC), and Project Engineer
CAD Department Manager, and Lead CAD personnel will provide mentorship and direction
Develop CAD deliverables per requirements and specifications, and ensure that they are complete, and accurate. The deliverables include but are not limited to: 2D drawings, 3D models, PID & PFD’s
Develop skills to read and interpret design drawings. Review shop drawings when requested
Assist with field surveying, information gathering and laser scanning
Assist with development of department CAD standards and CAD templates
Responsible for accurate and timely project file management (CAD files, vendor files, emails, etc.) and dissemination of project information
Qualification
Required
Associates degree
Diploma from recognized technical school in Microstation, AutoCAD, or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge in 'Autocad' CAD or equivalent CAD applications
Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modeling techniques
Basic understanding of good engineering, design, and architectural practices
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes
Provide meaningful feedback to project teams, and CAD Manager to help the CAD team improve performance
Not satisfied with status quo. Continually strives to find new and better solutions to CAD drafting and modeling challenges
Preferred
Previous internship, apprenticeship or work experience in a related field
