Responsibilities

Respond to customer requests and field dispatches
Meet with customers on-site to discuss service or repair needs
Provide advanced technical support and perform advanced troubleshooting for compressor packages, electrical, and control systems
Perform retrofitting of industrial control panels across multiple manufacturers
Conduct compressor repairs and address controls-related issues, including PLC and Microlink
Complete routine maintenance or repair in accordance with ANSI/IIAR-6 2019 standards
Inspect machinery to confirm proper working order and provide preventative measure suggestions
Supervise the start-up of the company's product line and perform warranty work
Discuss work completed with the customer and provide technical training to users/customers
Assist other departments in developing new products and improving existing products from a service perspective
Recommend improved tools, procedures, and devices for service operations

Qualification

Required

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience with industrial refrigeration equipment REQUIRED
Capable of reading P&IDs and electrical schematics
Knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and major components
Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems and control schemes
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem-solve and resolve issues
Excellent time management skills
Must be a self-starter and driven
Physical ability to perform tasks (e.g., lifting 75lbs, maneuvering in small spaces)
Ability to travel up to 90%
Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record

Preferred

Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field
RETA CARO or CIRO Certification
