Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches
Conduct microsoldering on logic boards to fix complex issues such as water damage, no-power, and charging problems
Repair or replace integrated circuits (ICs), connectors, and other tiny components under a microscope
Read and interpret schematics and board views to trace circuits and diagnose faults
Manage a high volume of repairs while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency
Provide mentorship and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each device
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a cell phone repair technician, with a strong emphasis on board-level repair
Expertise in microsoldering techniques and proficiency with all necessary tools, including hot air rework stations, soldering irons, and microscopes
Deep understanding of electronic theory and circuit analysis
Proven ability to read and understand schematics and board layouts
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
