General Accountant
Pyramid Global Hospitality is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment. The General Accountant will manage resort billing and receivable functions, assist in financial reporting, and ensure accurate accounting practices within the resort operations.

Responsibilities
Resort billing and invoicing with applicable follow-up and ownership of accounts
Weekly Review of Deposits Due and Resort Aging reports, with follow-up on outstanding items
Attending Precon meetings with resort and clients to ensure proper billing information
Participate, audit and reconcile Inventories on a monthly basis
Ensure departmental checkbooks are configured and available ahead of each month
Prepare and review journal entries as needed, mainly during month-end closing
To assist departments in the interpretation, orientation, training, and analysis of cash handling matters
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualification
Required
Handle all aspects of the Resort Billing and Receivable functions including wedding, banquet, and group billing and receipts
Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial entries and reports
Resort billing and invoicing with applicable follow-up and ownership of accounts
Weekly Review of Deposits Due and Resort Aging reports, with follow-up on outstanding items
Attend Precon meetings with resort and clients to ensure proper billing information
Participate, audit and reconcile Inventories on a monthly basis

College degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
Advanced computer skills, with a focus on accounting
Knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to formulas, VLook-Ups, Pivot Tables and If/Then
Preferred
Extensive knowledge of a hotel Front Office system
Understanding of POS systems and how they maintain & process information
