Responsibilities
Directs the development and implementation of activities in rack production area(s) to meet rack production goals, quality
Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the operators
Guide the rack team through root cause analysis, issue solving and prevention
Achieve /Prioritizes production schedules based on rack product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply
Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Launch new rack programs, lead rack production ramps and design changes successfully through resource planning, program management and partnering with rack PM team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related field is preferred
8+ years production management experience with Rack, system, and server industry
Experience in rack manufacturing environment preferred
Experience with process improvement methodologies, improve efficiency, increase yield and availability, design of experiments
Hands-on experience and abilities to implement rack integration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
Have a good technical experiences of rack product design intent, processes, equipment
Ability to manage constant change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Effective time management and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walking manufacturing floor
