Business Development Director, International
Apex is a fast-growing spacecraft manufacturing company focused on providing access to space. The Business Development Director, International will drive growth in international markets, particularly in the EMEA region, and manage full-cycle deal management from opportunity identification through to contract closure.

Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the regional market. Own and drive deals from open to close
Develop market and account strategies and clear and well defined engagement plans for all pursuits
Develop and maintain a strong, healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities; ensure disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracy
Build strong customer relationships across working and executive levels
Represent Apex at industry events, trade shows, and key customer meetings to drive awareness and build relationships
Qualification
Required
Proven track record (5+ years) in a business development or sales role with experience in international space markets
Experience in a quota-carrying or otherwise high-pressure position
Experience developing and executing account and deal strategies to manage and close enterprise transactions with multiple stakeholders
Deep understanding of the satellite market landscape, including customer funding processes, acquisition models, and prime/subcontractor dynamics
Understanding of the market dynamics and sovereign interests within the region and align the company to leverage these opportunities
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
Preferred
Technical background (e.g. aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related) enabling deeper engagement with customer mission needs and Apex's technical offerings
