Responsibilities

Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team while staying true to production goals and how they influence design decisions
Provide cost trades during design cycles to describe and defend producibility choices
Knowledge base should include production level support manufacturing details, assembly, and test

Required

In-depth knowledge of circuit cards, electronics and electronic assembly
Firm understanding of engineering drawings, parts lists, CAD
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team while staying true to production goals and how they influence design decisions
Provide cost trades during design cycles to describe and defend producibility choices
Knowledge base should include production level support manufacturing details, assembly, and test
Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence in a professional setting
Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods for electronics and electro-optical assemblies
Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling
Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) knowledge/experience
Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with automation and robotics
Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks
Experience using Design Profit or Siemens Valor NPI

Preferred

Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence in a professional setting
Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods for electronics and electro-optical assemblies
