Responsibilities
Worked as part of a software development team under the Agile Scrum model
Understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Contribute to improve the Team and Organization’s process and infrastructure
Create the reusable, testable, and efficient codes
Design and implement performant applications with low latency and high availability
Integrate the data storage solutions and create database schemas that represent and support business processes
Implement the security and data protection
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development or in a similar position
Excellent knowledge of back-end web development, especially in the Ruby on Rails framework
Good knowledge in Restful API development
Good knowledge of Design patterns
Experience in SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Experience working with testing libraries like Rspec
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Webpack/Webpacker, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Preferred
Good understanding of Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with system operations or CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Docker
Experience integrating with common third-party APIs (e.g., LINE, Stripe, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience working with multiple database types such as Redis, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
