Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Genesis vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, following manufacturer guidelines and service schedules
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in Genesis vehicles, using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes and recommend appropriate solutions
Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs and ensure the safety and performance of vehicles
Install and repair automotive components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems, with a focus on quality and accuracy
Document all repair work and parts used, maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair history in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations, provide cost estimates, and address any questions or concerns
Stay informed about Genesis vehicles, technical updates, and service procedures to maintain proficiency and meet certification requirements
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
Qualification
Required
Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably within a dealership environment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex automotive issues
Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in repair work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Preferred
ASE certification or equivalent technical training preferred
