Responsibilities
Support a critical part of HubSpot’s mission by developing and operating load balancing and CDN infrastructure
Play a leading role on a team of 3-5 engineers, focusing on hands-on technical contributions and providing technical leadership
Guide design, development, and operations of systems and system components, including technical mentorship and coaching for growth
Qualification
Required
An experienced Software Engineer with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex, performant, reliable and scalable distributed systems and/or infrastructure in a Cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare, CloudFront) and Load Balancers (e.g., NGINX, Envoy) is a plus
Proficiency in Java, C#, Go, C++, or Rust, with Java preferred
A player/coach with excellent communication skills and prior experience mentoring others
An understanding of how to foster Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging
The ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
Experience in building company internal platforms and collaborating with feature teams is a plus
