Accounts Payable Administrator
Peckham Industries, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to assist with the compiling, processing, and maintenance of accounts payable records. The role involves reviewing and verifying invoices, preparing check runs, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining vendor databases.

Responsibilities
Review, code and verify invoices are properly entered into the financial system with supporting documentation
Prepare and process weekly batch check runs, wire transfers and ACH
Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
Assist with monthly status reports and monthly closings
Reconcile various vendor statements
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Monitor credit card expenses, ensure charges are posted correctly and reconcile to the statement
Update and maintain vendor database
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 1 - 3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Ability to interface well with vendors and other departments
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
Legal right to work in the U.S
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required
