Responsibilities
Installation and troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware, software and connectivity
Ability to travel within geographical work area is required
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
Communicate with technical and non-technical staff
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Display a commitment to quality and strong multi-tasking skills
Work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to maintain infrastructure health
Solve problems at their root and step back to understand the broader context
Maintain service level agreements through the implementation of proactive issue detection and reporting
Are biased to act in the absence of direction or support
Improve effectiveness through process innovation
Qualification
Required
2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
BS in STEM area preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science, may be coupled with certifications to include CCNA, JNCIA + industry experience or 2+ year's IT systems or relevant experience
2+ years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Compute (Server and virtual machines. Wintel/*nix), Networking (Fundamentals - Cisco CCNA or equivalent), Scripting (automation)
Ability to travel within geographical work area is required
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
Communicate with technical and non-technical staff
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Display a commitment to quality and strong multi-tasking skills
Work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to maintain infrastructure health
Preferred
Experience with network equipment installation and configuration
Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
2+ years' hands on experience on Cisco routers/switches/firewalls
Experience working with data and telecom carriers to procure, deliver, and activate network circuits
Experience administering, deploying or supporting Aruba wireless network equipment
