Responsibilities
Work with your teammates to build and maintain high quality automation for building, testing, and deploying our main customer-facing platform
Develop and maintain critical areas of the product including HPC software publishing, HPC software licensing connectivity, and the HPC software catalog
Deploy, maintain and support Kubernetes clusters for the main Rescale platform
Build a scalable platform foundation for other internal engineering teams to use to deploy new services, using Argocd, Tekton, and Atlantis
Qualification
Required
5+ years of backend software engineering or Devops / SRE experience
Expertise or strong interest in the following areas: Kubernetes, automated deploys and build pipelines, web performance optimization (including ORM and DB profiling), deploying and scaling web applications, vm / container / application security
High enthusiasm for supporting both rapid proof-of-concept prototypes as well as robust, mission critical components for both internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable with ambiguity, strong user-first mindset, and ability to come up with non-regrettable technical solutions
Flexibility and dedication to work with designers, product managers, and other engineers in a team to ship exceptional software
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
