Responsibilities
Translating approved website designs and prototypes into standards-based websites within the University of Nevada, Reno’s (UNR) content management system (CMS)
Proactively manages the CMS and related administration and quality assurance activities
Consults on the integration of other web-based technologies and manages student interns as needed
Developing, maintaining, optimizing, and updating the University’s website and content management system
Collaborates with other teams to research, develop, and implement web governance policies and procedures to ensure the University’s website complies with accessibility standards and industry best practices
Spearheads the web team’s research and development into new features and functionality
Plans, implements, and oversees major upgrades to the website and content management system
Manages student web interns and mentors colleagues in web development and accessibility best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR
Master's Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
Related Experience: website and/or web-based application development; electronic accessibility standards or related

Master's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience
