The Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Psychologist with Expertise in CBT to treat patients with mood, anxiety and OCD disorders. The psychologist will provide specialized evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing outpatient clinical care to adults with a range of mental health conditions, focusing on mood disorders and anxiety-based disorders.

Responsibilities

Providing specialized evaluations, treatment planning and ongoing outpatient clinical care to adult patients with a range of mental health conditions
Focusing on patients with mood disorders as well as those with OCD and related disorders
Applying cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) such as Exposure and Response Prevention, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics, Habit Reversal Therapy, and motivational interviewing
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical team including MDs, NPs and LCSWs to deliver outstanding clinical service
Establishing group therapy approaches and developing additional clinical programming
Providing clinical supervision to residents, fellows, doctoral students and other clinicians as well as formal teaching and lectures

Required

Expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Experience treating patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and OCD
High level of skill and competence in differential diagnosis
Experience in the application of specialized therapies including Exposure and Response Prevention, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics, Habit Reversal Therapy, and motivational interviewing
Comfortable working in collaboration with an interdisciplinary clinical team including MDs, NPs, and LCSWs
Ability to provide specialized evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing outpatient clinical care
Experience with other CBT approaches and DBT approaches
Willingness to establish group therapy approaches and develop additional clinical programming
