Responsibilities

Design, prototype, test and troubleshoot battery systems including both hardware and firmware
Create test plans for components and assemblies within the scope of the project and organization
Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, e-loads and data acquisition systems
Track projects to ensure adherence to schedule and the Milwaukee process
Draw concise, logical, written conclusions from experiments based on data analysis
Schedule, develop agendas for, facilitate and document technical meetings and formal presentations
Develop and maintain familiarity and understanding of Milwaukee's development and manufacturing processes
Work with and establish trusting relationships with engineers throughout Asia and the world
Design to and qualify new designs to applicable regulatory standards such as UL, CEC, CE and ANSI

Required

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Understanding of Li-Ion or other cell chemistries; battery system design, architecture, testing, or integration
Ability to work well within cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and manage time/task delegation efficiently
Familiarity with operating various lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and e-loads
High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point
Excellent problem-solving skills, exercises independent judgement and performs consistently under pressure in a dynamic environment
Ability to travel 10% of the time (domestic and international)

Preferred

Working knowledge of a second modern programming language such as Python or C++
Experience with analog and digital system design
