Astemo Ltd. is a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry, and they have an immediate opening for a Suspension Technician in their Race Support Division. The successful candidate will provide technical support on SHOWA suspension, maintain suspension quality, and manage suspension parts for race service.

Responsibilities

Providing technical support on SHOWA suspension

Maintaining suspension quality (i.e. periodic maintenance)

Testing and race reporting, and disseminating data to Astemo management

Suspension parts management for race service

Researching, testing and analyzing new suspension valving, component, & design specifications

Safety management for performing work

Suspension setup on race tracks and test tracks with customers

Providing track support for races and providing testing per the team schedule

Qualification

Suspension technician experienceMotorcycle riding experienceChassis work experienceTeam collaborationPresentation skills

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience with suspension or chassis work, or dealership customer service support

Advanced experience riding motorcycles, with experience preferable in motocross

Ability to effectively present information to all levels within the company

Willingness to work as a team with all partners, both internal and external to the company

Willing to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends, evenings and travel
