Responsibilities
Oversee the monthly revenue close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with GAAP
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all monthly billing and revenue journal entries including the preparation of all balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
Prepare the revenue annual budget and monthly projections
Perform detailed revenue variance analysis by industry, client and business units
Develop revenue analytics to identify and present potential issues and opportunities
Work with different business partners to gain insight and knowledge that could affect forecasts
Support external audit
Perform ad-hoc analysis or special projects
Qualification
Required
Assist in the preparation of the company's financial statements and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Review assigned areas of responsibility for continuous process improvement
Monitor, evaluate, and implement internal controls over areas of responsibility
Investigate and research accounting questions related to internal and external reporting issues
Assist in training others in the Accounting group, as needed
Oversee the monthly revenue close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with GAAP
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all monthly billing and revenue journal entries including the preparation of all balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
Prepare the revenue annual budget and monthly projections
Perform detailed revenue variance analysis by industry, client and business units
Develop revenue analytics to identify and present potential issues and opportunities

Preferred
BS in Accounting
4+ years of experience in financial analysis/general accounting functions, including revenue accounting and the monthly close process
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be an analytical and critical thinker with the ability to dig deep into the details but present high-level findings to management
Exceptional MS Excel skills
Detail oriented and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work within a team environment
Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly
Netsuite experience preferred
