Responsibilities

Lead and manage large-scale software and web development projects across multiple scrum teams and locations

Oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, budget, risk, and reporting to ensure timely, high-quality delivery

Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders

Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and promote best practices while integrating structure from Waterfall methodologies when appropriate

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement

Lead meetings and presentations with customers and leadership, ensuring clear, concise communication and follow-through

Coach and mentor project team members, fostering ownership and technical excellence

Required

8+ years of project management experience leading application/software development teams

Proven ability to motivate, organize, and coach cross-functional teams across multiple geographies

Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise software projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations

Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; hybrid project delivery experience highly valued

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership confidently and succinctly

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline required

Preferred

PMP certification preferred

Prior experience in healthcare or insurance environments highly desired, but not required

Former technical background (software development or engineering) strongly preferred; must be comfortable participating in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions
