Deposit Documentation Specialist
Wilson Bank & Trust is seeking a Deposit Documentation Specialist III responsible for verifying the accuracy of account documents and system data for deposit accounts. This role involves reviewing coding and account documents, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to team members and customers.

Responsibilities
Review deposit account documents, system data and the Customer Information File (CIF) for completeness and accuracy
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and bank procedures related to deposit accounts
Review coding and account documents. Note, track and clear exceptions on deposit accounts
Respond to branch inquiries via phone, email, service events, and/or ticketing, in a professional, knowledgeable, and timely manner
Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of department processes
Stay abreast of all procedures and processes related to deposit account types, trusts, titling of accounts, etc
Serve as a resource for branch team members regarding account titling, CIF assignments, and exception management
Assist with special projects
Cross train with members of Deposit Documentation to develop additional knowledge and skills
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, and reviewing professional publications
Attend training as requested
Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
Participate in outside community activities as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
5 years of experience in banking operations or new accounts preferred
Experience with complex account types such as escrow, fiduciary, trusts, etc
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard software applications
Experience with Windows based file management (Desktop, saving, moving of files)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and bank procedures related to deposit accounts (titling, trusts etc.)
Ability to review basic legal documentation and apply to scenarios
Strong presentation skills with ability to effectively conduct training, in large and small settings
Ability to focus on high level of detail verification while performing repetitive tasks
Ability to follow up and manage exception tracking
Proficient with consumer and business deposit accounts
Familiar with deposit software platforms
Ability to apply knowledge regarding codes and relationships between codes when changes are required
