A&P Engine Inspector - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Pratt & Whitney is a leader in transforming the future of flight, and they are seeking an A&P Engine Inspector to perform advanced inspections at the Columbus Engine Center. The role involves using various tooling and measurement equipment to validate engine configurations and provide accurate documentation to support engine builds.

Responsibilities

Use a variety of tooling and measurement equipment to inspect engine components to validate proper configuration
Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build
Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility
Complete and review technical documentation including Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Report (EIR), and SAP
Complete and review engine package documentation

Qualification

A&P LicenseTurbine engine inspectionPrecision measuring toolsMicrosoft OfficeSAPPlanning skillsInterpersonal skillsOrganizational skills

Required

HS Diploma or GED equivalent
1+ years' experience in aviation inspection role

Preferred

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License, Powerplant (P) License or 2+ years' relevant experience
Turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, precision measuring tool usage, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly
Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
