Prepare workpapers, research complex tax issues and communicate effectively to clients
Provide tax preparation and consulting services
Work directly with clients

Qualification

Required

Accounting Degree from an accredited four-year university
CPA/EA designation or has made progress toward passing the exam
3+ years' experience in a tax-focused position
Proven understanding of complex accounting entries
Experience preparing tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, and Trusts
Success in prior work experience with the ability to self-manage, prioritize assignments and interface with clients
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to communicate complicated matters to clients or government agencies
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and to multi-task
Enthusiasm for technical topics and interested in learning opportunities via research, CPE and discussions with peers
Contributes to an established culture of positivity and respect
Self-motivated to seek new projects
Recognizes strengths and weaknesses and appreciates peer feedback
